Googles T&Cs – No Choice

Googles latest update to their Terms and Conditions 31st March 2020 completely disregard your rights to privacy

They offer a simple ultimatum: Accept us spying on you if you want to use our services

Additionally they have redefined their services to include

• Using Google search even when not signed in
• Using Chrome browser, as above

Just in case you forgot, Google owns Youtube

But hey who reads T&Cs anyway?

Time to say goodbye to google, you’ve got too big for your boots and don’t care at all about your users

Say hello to open source… here are a few privacy respecting alternatives

• Firefox browser
• Next Cloud for all your contacts, calendars & file sharing
• Proton encrypted email
